About These Breathing Techniques

Box Breathing (4-4-4-4)

A balanced technique used to calm the nervous system. Inhale, hold, exhale, and hold — each for 4 seconds. Great for grounding and focus.

4-7-8 Breathing

Inhale for 4, hold for 7, and exhale for 8 seconds. This method helps reduce anxiety and prepares the body for sleep by slowing the heart rate.

Relax Breathing (5-5-5-5)

A smooth, even-paced technique that promotes relaxation and emotional balance. Ideal for quick stress relief or centering before meditation.
